The Bowflex® Xtreme SE home gym stacks a massive 92kg/210lb of Power Rod® resistance units, which feel just as good if not better than free weights. Why? Because when using Power Rods, the tension comes on to your muscles progressively as the rods tension, and therefor gently; where as using free weights, it is all or nothing – requiring maximum pressure on your muscles from the get-go, which has the potential to cause damage over time.

You can hook one, two, three, four or all of your Power Rod units to the cable pulley system and go from as little as 5 pounds all the way up to 210 pounds of resistance (can be upgraded to 410 pounds). They’re precisely manufactured from a high-tech composite material under the highest quality control measures, then sheathed and tested 4 separate times to ensure quality and durability. The Power Rod® resistance units are so strong, you can flex them repeatedly but you won’t be able to wear them out.

The Lat tower will allow you to easily sculpt your back and shoulders while the 3-position lower pulley/squat station is great for developing strong glutes, hamstrings and quads.

The adjustable pulley cables allow you to change the angle of resistance to allow for more variation and increase the effectiveness of your exercise. Other details include five-way handgrip and ankle cuffs, an ergonomic adjustable seat with a polyurethane cushion, and a reinforced X-shaped base for maximum stability.
